About Joe’s Printer Buying Guide — Who Writes Our Reviews
About our printer review team
Joe’s Printer Buying Guide (joesprinterbuyingguide.com) has published printer reviews, roundups, and setup guides since 2018. The site is for home, home-office, and small-business buyers who need a clear pick—not a spec dump.
Our mission
Explain ink cost, reliability, and fit before you click a retailer. We do not sell printers and we do not sell rankings.
What the numbers actually mean
You may see large “printers reviewed” counters in older theme tiles. Treat those as theme leftovers. The honest inventory is on the order of dozens of published reviews and guides, not 2,300 lab-tested machines. Combined “63 years” copy is also unverified marketing language; we do not use it here.
How we work
Scores are editorial. We mix hands-on use, spec sheets, owner-feedback patterns, and running-cost math. Full process: how we test.
The team
Bios live on authors. Public names include Amber Mitchell and Calvin Reese on older theme cards; Ice Cold Web editors (Chris Yamamoto, Patricia Boone, Derek Holt, Victoria Hayes, Mara Chen, Sofia Ruiz) write current pipeline pieces.
